Spoiler TV has recently revealed the CW primetime schedule for the entire season. Thank God, there won’t be any other breaks this year until after the finale. The schedule also shows episode 20 title – “The Last Day”. Last dance, last day… poor Mystic Falls residents, I would say!
Vampire-Diaries.net reported the last unknown season 2 episode title last night. According to them, episode 21 will be the one where “The Sun Also Rises”. Vee also let her imagination loose and shared her thoughts on the recently revealed titles. Check them all out here. Some really interesting references there!
Our very own Nina was interviewed by Toronto Sun last week. They posted their chat yesterday and, trust me, you don’t want to miss it! Dobrev talks about last episode, “Katerina”, and the challenge of playing two (or maybe four?) characters. The actress also mentions she helped “Vampire Diaries”‘ crew with the Bulgarian translation in episode 9. Read an excerpt below and visit Toronto Sun for the entire article.
“I worked really, really hard on that (episode),” added Dobrev, on the phone last week during a rare day off from shooting. “I really got to play the four different characters. And it was great to play the innocence of pre-vampire Katherine, when she was just a normal human.”
And Extra TV talked to Ian Somerhalder at “The Grove”. Lauren Sanchez asked him lots of things, including who would win in a Vampire Diaries/Twilight confrontation. Play the video to learn Ian’s answer. He talks about the success of the show and its devoted fans, Twitter and his interest in environment as well.
• Another slow tease: The story of The Originals and what powers they have will be a good portion of the rest of the season, Plec says. “It’s gonna be a big surprise for all of them [Damon, Stefan, Elena, Rose] when they come face-to-face with Elijah again, and then the question of ‘Well, how do you kill an Original?” is a big one that they’ll have to seek out answers to, and that’s gonna give us a lot story for upcoming episodes.” Tonight, we learn of one power that an Original vampire has that is unexpected.
“We go back way in time to the 1400s with more period looks, and what prompts us to go into that time frame is the fact that Elena delves into Katherine’s past and wants to find out more about her origin,” Nina said, adding that a big chunk of the episode is set in Bulgaria and has subtitles (which was extra fun for her since her heritage is Bulgarian!).
November 4th was officially a Nina Dobrev day! First, the actress participated in a live interview during The Associated Press stream. She was also one of the guests on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. You missed her appearances? Don’t worry, we have them both for your viewing enjoyment! The first clip is courtesy of AP Live, who were kind enough to upload their chat with Nina. She talks about two of her favorite cities – New York and Atlanta, pluses of playing Elena and Katherine both. Ms. Dobrev also teases next week’s episode, “Katerina”. Play the video below for more of this long, great interview.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
And thanks to the one and only Nina Dobrev Network for providing us with a video from Nina Dobrev’s visit on Jimmy Fallon. You can watch part 1 here and be sure to head over to her site for part 2 (+ some awesome caps)! The actress discusses almost the same things as the ones in the AP interview. Jimmy also shows a few lovely pictures of Nina from Australia. Plus, they play Dance Central which is so fun to watch! What more can I say? Just check it out already!
Speaking of Nina Dobrev Network, don’t forget to donate for Andrea’s latest projects – Christmas (ends November 8th) and birthday (final date: December 15th) one. She basically wants to surprise Nina by sending her gift basket and flowers along with your fan messages. Learn more by clicking on the names of the projects above. Spread the word!
And Zap2it‘s Carina Mackenzie (follow her on Twitter!) has a nice, juicy article once again. She discusses the “Katerina” stills, letting is know who the charming young man with Rose is – Slater. Judging from his name, he’s another centuries old vampire. Read an excerpt from Carina’s article and visit Zap2it for the entire story.
Jeremy, left behind in Mystic Falls while Damon and Stefan look for Elena, will help Bonnie after a spell leaves her drained. Judging from the photos below, it won’t be too long before the witch and the apprentice hunter are going on maybe-dates at The Grill. He wouldn’t be Jeremy if he was completely lucky in love, though, so it’s no surprise that Bonnie has her eye on Luca, the (very cute) new guy in town.
