TV Line, TV Guide, Zap2it & LA Times: What do Paul, Katerina and Candice have to say about the Klaus chapter?

Fans of Paul Wesley, Kat Graham and Candice Accola can’t complain of lack of chats. Interviews with the stars continue to pop up all over the Internet. TV Line, TV Guide, Zap2it and LA Times last caught up with them to talk about the rest of season 2, The Klaus Chapter. Katerina, Candice and Paul opened up about their characters, big bad Klaus, who may not make it to season 3 and more.

Show Tracker: ‘The Vampire Diaries’: ‘Every character is going to surprise you,’ says Katerina Graham

There’s some pictures of Damon and Bonnie at the ’60s dance. Are they having a moment? Or are they just working together to protect Elena?

You will have to absolutely watch that scene. … We definitely have a scene together. It’s an amazing scene. It’ll get everyone talking. It’s just a can’t-miss moment. It definitely has to deal with a great part of Bonnie’s decision on what she’s going to do. Whether that’s yes or no, I won’t say. But it’s an incredible moment in the show.

Plus, Show Tracker has recently interviewed Julie Plec. The writer previews what’s to happen in the Klaus Chapter. She also comments on two of the show’s triangles – Stefan/Elena/Damon and Matt/Caroline/Tyler. Head over to LA Times for more of their chat.

“There’s one weapon, two originals. I wonder what’s going to happen,” Plec mused coyly during an interview with Showtracker. “That is their big conundrum. As soon as we get back from the hiatus, we’re going to start asking that question and seeing what our characters decide to do about it will be pretty big.”

Interview round-up: TV Fanatic’s on-set video with Paul, Katerina talks the sacrifice + two Candice Accola chats

With an all new episode this Thursday, the reporters have been better than ever to “Vampire Diaries” fans. A few new interviews with the cast have popped this week. Zap2it: ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham: Bonnie is prepared to sacrifice herself for Elena

“I was doing stunts recently that I’ve never done before,” she says, excited. “I still get to play with fire and all that crazy stuff. You’ll definitely get to see all the fun witchy cool things that people love to see. It’s very challenging. Those scenes take a lot longer than some of the other scenes because there are all these rigs and stuff like that.” She admits that there have been occasions when the stuntwork and the fire (it’s real, folks, not edited in later) have made her “very, very nervous.”

Dish of Salt: Candice Accola Takes a Bite Out of ‘Vampire Diaries’

Candice Accola chats with AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman about the love triangle between her character, Caroline, and the two men in her life, Matt and Tyler. So, who does she prefer? “The Vampire Diaries” returns with new episodes on April 7 on The CW.

If you could bring any dead character back to life, who would it be?
Kayla Ewell (Vicki Donovan) has become one of my best friends, so to have her in Atlanta with me would be really cool.

This week’s Know Thy Enemy webclip, more stills for The Last Dance

The CW has been treating us more than well lately. After the recently released extended promo, the network uploaded a “Know Thy Enemy” clip to their YouTube channel. It shows the good old trio, also known as Stefan, Damon and Katherine. The wait is over in two days!

Episode 20 & 22 (season finale!) titles, additional stills from season 2

Spoiler TV has recently revealed the CW primetime schedule for the entire season. Thank God, there won’t be any other breaks this year until after the finale. The schedule also shows episode 20 title – “The Last Day”. Last dance, last day… poor Mystic Falls residents, I would say!

Plus, Ian Somerhalder announced the start of season 2 finale shooting yesterday. Right after that, he tweeted a photo of his own copy of the script (right). It is titled “As I Lay Dying”, written by TBD and directed by John Behring (“Plan B”, “The Last Dance”). I’m with mixed feelings about this – happy that the cast will be finally able to catch a break, but also sad that it’s that time of the year again.

It’s here-Season finale episode (ep222) of TVD.Wow,44 episodes in 24 months.Almost 3pm,got out of bed,coffee and new script- awesomeness…

Andrea at Vampire Diaries Web has added yet another batch of extra stills and BTS pictures to their gallery. There are images from almost every single episode so far as well as a few from next week’s “Know Thy Enemy”. They’re honestly awesome, so be sure to visit the site and look through them!

UPDATE:

Vampire-Diaries.net reported the last unknown season 2 episode title last night. According to them, episode 21 will be the one where “The Sun Also Rises”. Vee also let her imagination loose and shared her thoughts on the recently revealed titles. Check them all out here. Some really interesting references there!

Vampire Diaries preview for future episodes, more stills from Klaus (219) + new promo poster

CWtelevision has released a shiny new promo as an April present to all “Vampire Diaries” fans. It includes footage from at least three upcoming episodes as well as scenes with almost every character. There’s something for everyone, to put it mildly. The CW certainly knows how to please their viewers. Just five episodes left until season 2 finale. Are you ready for a ride?

Vampire Diaries Web has posted three more stills from “Klaus”. Unfortunately, there’s still not one of the “oldest vampire in the history of time”. Not that it comes as a surprise – I suppose the writers want to keep him a mystery. However, the new pictures offer a look at crying Elena and Jenna, plus rather shocked Damon and Andie. Looks like the girl’s still alive – you can’t deny she has luck. As to why the ladies are crying, we don’t know. But don’t worry – all will be revealed April 21st.

April Sweeps poster has also been revealed. It portrays “born to die” Elena surrounded by flowers. You can check it out along with some “Klaus” stills below. Head over to Vampire-Diaries.net for a textless version.

Klaus (219) episode description + first look, EW’s sneak peek at The Last Dance

The summary of probably the most anticipated episode this season came out last night. It’s titled “Klaus” and airs Thursday, April 21st. That’s when the Original will come out of the dark, as Ausiello teased in February. And guess what? Apart from Klaus’ debut, the episode will also include flashbacks to 1491 (hello there, Elijah!). Excited much?

KLAUS (GUEST STAR JOSEPH MORGAN, “BEN HUR”) IS REVEALED — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are furious when they discover that Elena (Nina Dobrev) has defied them both to make a new ally and take control of the plan to out-maneuver Klaus (Morgan). Disagreement over how to protect Elena leads to growing tension between the Salvatore brothers. Meanwhile, Stefan has his hands full trying to keep a confused and frightened Jenna (Sara Canning) safe. Flashbacks to 1491 reveal Katherine’s (Nina Dobrev) introduction to Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus, along with the origin of the moonstone curse. Elena learns shocking new information about Klaus’ motives.

Matt Davis also stars.

Many thanks to the amazing Judy Yam for tweeting this premiere still from “Klaus” (left). The description doesn’t lie – things between the Salvatore brothers are looking tense, indeed.

Finally, EW has an exclusive sneak peek at the April 14th episode of “The Vampire Diaries”. It includes quotes from executive producer Julie Plec as well as new stills from the 1960s Decade Dance. Beware of spoilers! Looks like everyone is waiting for Klaus to arrive. But don’t get too excited – they will be disappointed.

TVD EyeCon 2011: Q&As with Paul, Ian, Steven, Michael + Rob Pralgo

Most of the main “Vampire Diaries” guys attended TVD EyeCon convention this past weekend. Some of the attendees were kind enough to post photos and videos from the Q&A sessions. Vampire-Diaries.net and Vampire Diaries Online were also there. Each of them posted their own recap which you can read here and here. But first, enjoy all the material below.

Official synopsis & images for The Last Dance (218) + new Know Thy Enemy stills

VampireSite.net posted the episode description for episode 18, “The Last Dance” a few days ago. It airs April 14th, a week after the show’s return. And the following week (April 21st), the much anticipated Klaus’ debut will be finally here. Mystic Falls’ citizens better enjoy their last fun evening out for a while… but what if it’s really last for anyone?

DANCING WITH DANGER — As the high school prepares to throw a “1960s Decade Dance,” Elena (Nina Dobrev) starts receiving disturbing messages from Klaus via an unusual source. Bonnie (Katerina Graham) tries to reassure Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) that she is strong enough to help Elena, but a worried Jeremy asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) for advice. Caroline (Candice Accola) talks Matt (Zach Roerig) into taking her to the dance. Expecting Klaus to show up at the dance, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) attend as chaperones, but Klaus is playing a complicated game that keeps them on edge. Finally, Damon comes up with a new plan of action that shocks and upsets everyone.

John Behring directed the episode written by Michael Narducci.

There are also “The Last Dance” stills up at VampireSite.net. All of Stefan & Elena, with Damon in the background. In case these two are not your favourites, Vampire Diaries Web has more HQ images as well as a couple of BTS photos. Still wondering where Andie is…

In addition to all these goodies, VDW got their hands on 10+ new pictures from “Know Thy Enemy”. They contain pretty big spoilers, so be careful. And if you have some time to spare, the girls uploaded over 100 brand new stills from season one and two both yesterday. These are worth checking out, trust me. 😉

Interview round-up: New promo videos, LA Times chats with Julie, Candice’s reveals to EW & MTV + more

Even though the show is on too-long hiatus this month, we can’t complain of lack of interviews. Various reporters have talked to the cast lately, such as Show Tracker, Zap2it‘s Carina Mackenzie and Hollywood Crush. We gathered all the articles in one post for your sanity. Check out the best quotes below and click on the links for the entire stories. And if you’d like to ask the writers a question yourself, head over to Vampire Diaries’ official Facebook page.

PopWrap: Dawn Olivieri: You never really die on ‘Vampire Diaries’

PW: Right, especially when that choice involves suffering from a fictional malady.
Dawn: Totally. What’s funny to me is that the writers are really showing what it’s doing to Damon. In season one, he was compelling Vicki and it became disastrous. He may have entered this situation thinking it could be a similar case, but it’s turning out much differently for Damon, which has been an interesting turn. He’s not just able to shrug her off like he thought he could. I can’t wait for you guys to see episode 19 – there’s a lot of Andie and Damon in that one. Some big things go down.

Show Tracker: ‘The Vampire Diaries’: Remembering the dead with executive producer Julie Plec

That constant dark cloud over Mystic Falls means no one is safe forever, not even the show’s main trio of Elena (Nina Dobrev), Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). “I think that there are people who are safe for quite a long time,” Plec says. “But the rule always applies. Anything can happen at any time, and not everybody’s going to like it, and not everyone’s going to be happy about it.” While Elena, Stefan and Damon are probably not going anywhere soon, it does seem likely there will be more casualties when the series returns April 7. “I think we’ve got about 20 characters working at this point. Yes, there will be a percentage of them that will not make it to season three.”
