More and more interviews continue to pop up. This week, they have been mostly of Ms. Dobrev. They can be all found below and follow the links for the whole stories. Inside TV: Nina Dobrev’s five teases for tonight’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ (and one big one for the season finale)

• Fans are talking about chemistry between Elena and Elijah (Daniel Gillies). Should we be? “We can obviously tell that there was something between Elijah and Katherine, and there is now something sort of building between Elena and Elijah. Is it the same thing that’s been going on with every guy who’s encountered Elena after having survived Katherine?” Dobrev asks. (She has no answer.) “It’s funny,” she says. “Daniel Gillies is such a sweetheart, and he’s so amazing and so funny, and we’re really, really good friends, so we have a lot of fun on set. That kind of chemistry and friendship definitely can be caught on camera. I’m glad that it plays.”

Hollywood Crush: Nina Dobrev Says Tonight’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ Ep Will Be ‘Very Sad, Epic’

“Paul Sommers is directing it,” Nina said. “And Paul Sommers is our director of photography, so he’s done every episode since the beginning, except the pilot. So it’s his directorial debut. And it’s really cool and we’re really excited for him.”

EP Julie Plec has given some interviews this week. In this chat with Inside TV, she dishes about Klaus’s arrival, last week’s big twists and season 2 casualties. Head over to Entertainment Weekly for the whole article. HUGE spoiler warning to international fans, who haven’t seen episode 17 yet.

And now that we like Uncle John after he and Elena had their heart-to-heart, is Elena’s birth father going to die, too? “I have been waiting for a year for somebody to say, ‘Oh, I really like uncle John now,’ because we knew that we just had to find that pocket moment where [he and Elena] could connect on a real level, and we’ve been building to that very slowly and very subtly,” Plec laughs. “That, I swear to god, is one of my favorite scenes of the whole season.” Notice she didn’t answer our question…

She has also chatted to XFinity TV (Fancast’s new site name)’s Sara Bibel. Julie teases Mystic Falls’ 1960s decade dance, the countdown to Klaus, Tyler’s return and more. You can read an extract below, the entire story is up here. Beware of spoilers.

Every “Vampire Diaries” fan has his or her favorite couple. What can you tell me about the couples in Mystic Falls?
All the couples are about to realize that on the horizon there are difficult times in their relationship, for different reasons. Every relationship will be tested. Choices will be made. Things will change.

More from Kat Graham and Julie Plec: Tonight’s “Know Thy Enemy”, characters’ returns & deaths + the countdown to Klaus begins

One more interview with Katerina has surfaced today, this time with E! Online. She dishes about the Sacrifice, what lengths Bonnie is willing to go for Elena to and her romance with Jeremy. Continue to read to learn who the new witch in town is, the rest of the article can be found at Watch with Kristin.

We’re not sure we love that ominous answer and it certainly didn’t put us at ease, but maybe the addition of a new witch in Mystic Falls will help fight evil and keep Bonnie living to see another day (and another season). “Lisa Tucker, who plays Greta, Jonas’ daughter, is coming to town, which is really exciting. Another witch on the scene! I’m always for more witches. The more witches the better,” Graham tells us.

Inside TV has recently sat down with Julie Plec to talk about all things “Vampire Diaries”. The writer spills up about almost every character’s storyline, including Damon’s, Caroline’s and Isobel’s. She also discusses tonight’s episode, next Mystic Falls’ full moon and the season finale.

“He [Morgan] has a depth and an intelligence as an actor, but he’s also got this great wicked grin and these dimples that make him seem both fun and naughty at the same time, even as he’s being evil or very stern,” Plec says. “So there’s a playfulness about him that Kevin and I really liked because we didn’t want Klaus to be a one-note bad guy. The more layers that we can bring to the character, the more successful the character’s gonna be, and Joseph seems to have the ability to do all that.” (Plec says he’s also read all the L.J. Smith books upon which the series is based, and has not only done his research on Klaus, but also the vampire canon and lore in general.)

TV Line, TV Guide, Zap2it & LA Times: What do Paul, Katerina and Candice have to say about the Klaus chapter?

Fans of Paul Wesley, Kat Graham and Candice Accola can’t complain of lack of chats. Interviews with the stars continue to pop up all over the Internet. TV Line, TV Guide, Zap2it and LA Times last caught up with them to talk about the rest of season 2, The Klaus Chapter. Katerina, Candice and Paul opened up about their characters, big bad Klaus, who may not make it to season 3 and more.

Show Tracker: ‘The Vampire Diaries’: ‘Every character is going to surprise you,’ says Katerina Graham

There’s some pictures of Damon and Bonnie at the ’60s dance. Are they having a moment? Or are they just working together to protect Elena?

You will have to absolutely watch that scene. … We definitely have a scene together. It’s an amazing scene. It’ll get everyone talking. It’s just a can’t-miss moment. It definitely has to deal with a great part of Bonnie’s decision on what she’s going to do. Whether that’s yes or no, I won’t say. But it’s an incredible moment in the show.
