Are you still processing this week’s cliffhangers? We know we are. Last episode literally turned our world upside down. There was so much blood and death in 42 minutes that we almost lost hope that “the sun would also rise”. Dobrev and Canning (who were on the first row for the sacrifice) sat down to discuss the most major events and consequences. The articles posted below contain HUGE spoilers for international fans who haven’t caught up on the show yet.
“It’s going to be really cool to see where it goes. I mean there’s so many possibilities of where it could go. The storyline has opened up to so many different things now,” she says. “That also means there’s more flashbacks, which is fun. I love doing the flashbacks, being in a different world and a different era.”
TVLINE | What’s next for you? Any immediate plans?
I actually have a few things that I’m doing right now. I’m working on a short [film] that’s a noir piece, and I’m really excited about that. I also am doing a film at the end of this month for Lifetime called The Hunt for the I-5 Killer, which is based on true events. I’ve been auditioning, but I just got back to Vancouver a week ago, so that’s just a huge move to deal with.
Fans of Paul Wesley, Kat Graham and Candice Accola can’t complain of lack of chats. Interviews with the stars continue to pop up all over the Internet. TV Line, TV Guide, Zap2it and LA Times last caught up with them to talk about the rest of season 2, The Klaus Chapter. Katerina, Candice and Paul opened up about their characters, big bad Klaus, who may not make it to season 3 and more.
There’s some pictures of Damon and Bonnie at the ’60s dance. Are they having a moment? Or are they just working together to protect Elena?
You will have to absolutely watch that scene. … We definitely have a scene together. It’s an amazing scene. It’ll get everyone talking. It’s just a can’t-miss moment. It definitely has to deal with a great part of Bonnie’s decision on what she’s going to do. Whether that’s yes or no, I won’t say. But it’s an incredible moment in the show.
With an all new episode this Thursday, the reporters have been better than ever to “Vampire Diaries” fans. A few new interviews with the cast have popped this week. “I was doing stunts recently that I’ve never done before,” she says, excited. “I still get to play with fire and all that crazy stuff. You’ll definitely get to see all the fun witchy cool things that people love to see. It’s very challenging. Those scenes take a lot longer than some of the other scenes because there are all these rigs and stuff like that.” She admits that there have been occasions when the stuntwork and the fire (it’s real, folks, not edited in later) have made her “very, very nervous.”
Candice Accola chats with AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman about the love triangle between her character, Caroline, and the two men in her life, Matt and Tyler. So, who does she prefer? “The Vampire Diaries” returns with new episodes on April 7 on The CW.
There is a question that run through the head of Italian fans for months: why did you not come to the Telefilm Festival in Milan?
(He looks puzzled at me) Because nobody invited me, otherwise I would have willingly come. I literally go crazy for Italy!
Then consider yourself informally booked for next year. In addition to petitions to invite you for festivals I guess that fans ask you everything. Until now how many of them have asked to be bitten
(Laughs) Not many, because Stefan is a good vampire. Usually they vehicle these requests to Ian Somerhalder… I think. However, someone always try to ask a bite.
You would probably assume that if you starred on a hit show about vampires and eternal life you’d wish you could live forever … think again!
Immortality? Not for the men of The CW’s hit show The Vampire Diaries! We spoke to several of the heart-stopping hunks on the red carpet at HollywoodLife.com’s Young Hollywood Awards at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles on May 13 — and they told us they would NEVER wish to live forever!
“It depends on what age,” jokes Matthew Davis, who plays Alaric on the show. His co-star Michael Trevino, who plays Tyler chimed in by telling us, “No, I wouldn’t want to live forever but I’d like X-ray vision!”
