Klaus (219) episode description + first look, EW’s sneak peek at The Last Dance

The summary of probably the most anticipated episode this season came out last night. It’s titled “Klaus” and airs Thursday, April 21st. That’s when the Original will come out of the dark, as Ausiello teased in February. And guess what? Apart from Klaus’ debut, the episode will also include flashbacks to 1491 (hello there, Elijah!). Excited much?

KLAUS (GUEST STAR JOSEPH MORGAN, “BEN HUR”) IS REVEALED — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are furious when they discover that Elena (Nina Dobrev) has defied them both to make a new ally and take control of the plan to out-maneuver Klaus (Morgan). Disagreement over how to protect Elena leads to growing tension between the Salvatore brothers. Meanwhile, Stefan has his hands full trying to keep a confused and frightened Jenna (Sara Canning) safe. Flashbacks to 1491 reveal Katherine’s (Nina Dobrev) introduction to Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus, along with the origin of the moonstone curse. Elena learns shocking new information about Klaus’ motives.

Matt Davis also stars.

Many thanks to the amazing Judy Yam for tweeting this premiere still from “Klaus” (left). The description doesn’t lie – things between the Salvatore brothers are looking tense, indeed.

Finally, EW has an exclusive sneak peek at the April 14th episode of “The Vampire Diaries”. It includes quotes from executive producer Julie Plec as well as new stills from the 1960s Decade Dance. Beware of spoilers! Looks like everyone is waiting for Klaus to arrive. But don’t get too excited – they will be disappointed.

Official synopsis & images for The Last Dance (218) + new Know Thy Enemy stills

VampireSite.net posted the episode description for episode 18, “The Last Dance” a few days ago. It airs April 14th, a week after the show’s return. And the following week (April 21st), the much anticipated Klaus’ debut will be finally here. Mystic Falls’ citizens better enjoy their last fun evening out for a while… but what if it’s really last for anyone?

DANCING WITH DANGER — As the high school prepares to throw a “1960s Decade Dance,” Elena (Nina Dobrev) starts receiving disturbing messages from Klaus via an unusual source. Bonnie (Katerina Graham) tries to reassure Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) that she is strong enough to help Elena, but a worried Jeremy asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) for advice. Caroline (Candice Accola) talks Matt (Zach Roerig) into taking her to the dance. Expecting Klaus to show up at the dance, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) attend as chaperones, but Klaus is playing a complicated game that keeps them on edge. Finally, Damon comes up with a new plan of action that shocks and upsets everyone.

John Behring directed the episode written by Michael Narducci.

There are also “The Last Dance” stills up at VampireSite.net. All of Stefan & Elena, with Damon in the background. In case these two are not your favourites, Vampire Diaries Web has more HQ images as well as a couple of BTS photos. Still wondering where Andie is…

In addition to all these goodies, VDW got their hands on 10+ new pictures from “Know Thy Enemy”. They contain pretty big spoilers, so be careful. And if you have some time to spare, the girls uploaded over 100 brand new stills from season one and two both yesterday. These are worth checking out, trust me. 😉

Know Thy Enemy (217) description, stills + extended promo

The CW Network has revealed the official synopsis of the first episode after the hiatus, “Know Thy Enemy”. Looks like a lot of things are going to happen. Be sure to tune in April 7th for all new “Vampire Diaries”. Thanks to VampireSite.net for the heads up!

HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT — Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Alaric (Matt Davis) both lash out at John (guest star David Anders) when Isobel’s (guest star Mia Kirshner) unexpected arrival leaves Jenna (Sara Canning) devastated. Bonnie (Katerina Graham) works with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) to find the spell they’ll need to harness her ancestors’ power. A heartbroken Caroline (Candice Accola) doesn’t know what to do about Matt (Zach Roerig). Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon realize they have a new secret weapon.

Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Mike Daniels.

HQ stills popped up as well. It was about time! Some of them are quite spoilery, especially for the ones who haven’t watched “The House Guest” yet. See previews here, more images are up in Vampire Diaries Web’s gallery.

And here’s the extended trailer of episode 17, courtesy of The CW again. Let’s hope a preview clip will be released soon. Just 15 days left until you know who is back. 😉

Both The Vampire Diaries and Nikita were down a tenth with adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

Finally, Blood Falls uploaded some more stills and behind the scenes photos from episode 16 to their gallery. See them all over at their site. To the ones who haven’t seen the episode yet – beware of spoilers!

Vampire Diaries Online interviews The Hillywood Show + new still

Vampire Diaries Online (@tvdfansonline) recently chatted to Hillywood Show‘s Hilly and Hannah. The sisters started the show back in 2009. During this Ustream interview, they talk about their “Vampire Diaries” parody (which is set to be released before the end of February) and finding the perfect Salvatores.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

In addition to the video, Hilly and Hannah published a new still from the upcoming parody. It shows Katherine and Stefan dance during the masquerade ball (207). View the picture at their official site.

New stills from 208, 211, 215 & 216, TVD supporting guys in GQ March

Vampire Diaries Web has some more stills (+ a behind the scenes photo from “Rose”) from episode 8, 11, 15 and 16 (upcoming) of season two. Click on each image to access the galleries, respectively. WARNING: “The Dinner Party” folder (third picture) contains major spoilers for the ones, who haven’t watched the episode yet.

HUGE thanks to Vampire Diaries Online for this GQ spread of Michael, Steven and Zach! These three together = me drooling forever. I believe I’m not alone, am I? 😉 Credit goes to The Vampire Diaries Italia.

First look at Hillywood Show’s parody, important character to appear in late April

The Hillywood Show just tweeted they were editing their “Vampire Diaries” parody. This show is different that the other ones out there. And when I say different, I mean light years away. It’s a great mix between entertainment and good acting. A few days ago, they released the first still from the parody featuring tomb Katherine. The whole thing is coming late February. Thanks, Vampire Diaries Online!

The always reliable Ausiello from TV Line got some “Vampire Diaries” scoop, again. Quite a scoop. MAJOR SPOILERS: According to the reporter, Joseph Morgan makes his debut as Klaus on April 21st. Mark your calendars everyone!

Question: My birthday is this week and I was wondering if I could get some scoop on The Vampire Diaries? —Dianna Amy S
Ausiello:
Save this date: Thursday, April 21. That’s when Joseph Morgan debuts as Klaus!

New stills from The Dinner Party & The House Guest

Many thanks to Vampire Diaries Web for providing these additional stills from tomorrow’s “The Dinner Party”! They’re both featuring Stefan back in 1864, when he wasn’t the better brother. See them in Vampire Diaries Web’s gallery.

Episode 16 stills have been released as well. A few images can be found here and head over to VDW (these guys are just awesome, aren’t they?) for more HQs. Thanks to Nina Dobrev Network for the heads up! SPOILERS TO FOLLOW: As fan theories say, it’s not just Elena in the stills. They suppose Katherine’s set free and she’s the “house guest”. Nina’s look, expression and attitude in the first few stills are very Katherine-esque, to begin with. More to it, she’s wearing leggings as well as holding a whiskey tumbler which is so not Elena. So, we have every reason to think the b-tch is back. However, I believe it’s Elena here since Bonnie wouldn’t exactly smiling in Ms. Pierce’s company. Well done, TVD family!

One-minute promo for The Dinner Party, first still from 216 + song list and ratings for last night’s episode

CWtelevision has uploaded trailers for next week’s episode today. There’s short and extended version up over at their channel. The longer one can be found below as well. HUGE spoilers to follow!

Many thanks to Judy Yam for tweeting this still from episode 16, “The House Guest”! It shows Caroline singing at Mystic Grill. Is it for Matt? Vampire-Diaries.net supposes so. As the description says, she “finds a new way to get his attention”. By singing to him, maybe? This will be all revealed on February 24th. Can’t wait!

And here are last night’s “Crying Wolf” tracks and ratings. How I missed posting them! Thanks to Chris Mollere for keeping us updated again! Songs in order of appearance.

1. Free Energy “All I Know” – Amazon US, Amazon UK
2. Smith Westerns “All Die Young” – Amazon US
3. Ladyhawke “Manipulating Woman” – Amazon US, Amazon UK
4. Kyler England “You Wait for Rain” – Amazon US, Amazon UK
5. Matthew West “Family Tree” – Amazon US, Amazon UK

TV by the Numbers has published their weekly TV Ratings Thursday post today. According to them, the show brought 2.8 million viewers last night. In comparison with “Daddy Issues”, it was down with 20%.

On the CW, The Vampire Diaries 1.2 adults 18-49 rating was a series low down 20% vs. last week, and its 2.0 women 18-34 rating fell 17% vs. last week. Nikita’s 0.7 adults 18-49 rating was 22% lower than last week to a series low, however its women 18-34 ratings were even with last week’s 1.0.
