New Elena, Stefan & Damon poster + description and first look at season 2 finale

This newly released promotional poster of the trio is the latest one from the Ophelia-esque series. Ophelia is one of the main characters in William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”. If you don’t know her story, check out what a fan had to say about it. You can thank Vampire-Diaries.net for the poster, textless one can be found in their gallery. See individual versions of Elena, Stefan and Damon here. How many will die so that one could live in your opinion?

Official synopsis for the last episode of season 2 surfaced yesterday. Many thanks to VampireSite.net! The episode is directed by John Behring and written by Turi Meyer (hi there, “Smallville” fans!), Al Septien and Michael Narducci. Any guesses on who will lay dying?

THE BOND BETWEEN BROTHERS — While Mystic Falls presents a screening of “Gone with The Wind” in the town square, Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) memories of Katherine (Nina Dobrev) in 1864 mix with the reality of Elena (Nina Dobrev) in the present day. Stefan (Paul Wesley) pays a terrible personal price for his attempt to prevent a tragedy, and Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) makes a deadly mistake while trying to keep everyone safe. More than one life hangs in the balance as the consequences of the sacrifice ritual play out to a horrifying conclusion.

Steven R. McQueen, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola and Matt Davis also star.

The first still from the finale was also revealed yesterday. Looks like things are getting pretty hot between Damon and Elena. And that fire in the background makes them even hotter. You can view the image under the cut and read Robyn Ross‘s article over at TV Guide.

Synopsis & stills for The Sun Also Rises (221), new Stefan promo poster

Here’s the final poster in the “Ophelia-esque” promo series (left), courtesy of Vampire-Diaries.net. It portrays Stefan and has the rather ominous tagline “Dying to save her.” I assume it’s Elena we’re talking about here. I just doubt it that he would die for Katherine twice.

The official description of episode 21 also hit the Net last week. It’s titled “The Sun Also Rises” and that’s when the Sacrifice ritual begins. In case you were busy trying to catch up with all the news (as I was), you can find Vee’s speculations on the title here. Even though the synopsis is shorter than usual, it contains lots of spoilers, so be careful.

THE SACRIFICE RITUAL BEGINS — With the arrival of the full moon, Elena (Nina Dobrev) tries to prepare for whatever Klaus (guest star Joseph Morgan) has planned and Tyler (Michael Trevino) faces his second transformation. The terrifying events quickly spin out of control, despite an unexpected act of courage. Finally, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) admits the truth to Stefan (Paul Wesley) about a terrible new development they must face.

Steven R. McQueen, Sara Canning, Kat Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig and Matt Davis also star. Paul M. Sommers directed the episode written by Caroline Dries & Mike Daniels.

In addition to the episode description, The CW has gave us our first look at it. Just one more set of stills (“As I Lay Dying”) to be released! Time goes by fast, indeed. Thanks to VampireSite.net again, more images are up in their gallery.

Ian Somerhalder on The Seven, San Diego 6 chats to Paul + Kat’s Honey 2 poster

PopWrap compares “Honey” and its sequel starring Katerina Graham. According to them, “Honey 2” promises to be better than the first part, thanks to Kat’s brilliant performance and dance skillZ. Watch the movie trailer at New York Post.

Heidi from San Diego 6 has recently caught up with Paul Wesley. In this short interview, the actor talks about San Diego and his dream place to live. Thanks to @IHeartTVD for the heads up!

Finally, Ian Somerhalder appeared on The Seven yesterday. He dished about Damon’s priorities, playing the good boy vs. playing the bad body and “Vampire Diaries” fans. Thanks to MTV for the video. You can also watch it on YouTube, on ash92592’s channel.

New promotional poster of Damon: I’ve been a bad, bad boy

In addition to last week’s Elena poster, Undisclosed Desires has just released one more. This time, it’s with Damon and has the title “I’ve been a bad, bad boy.” See a coloured and black and white versions below and visit Undisclosed Desires’s gallery for textless ones. It’s good to have you back on our screens, Damon. 😉

Vampire Diaries preview for future episodes, more stills from Klaus (219) + new promo poster

CWtelevision has released a shiny new promo as an April present to all “Vampire Diaries” fans. It includes footage from at least three upcoming episodes as well as scenes with almost every character. There’s something for everyone, to put it mildly. The CW certainly knows how to please their viewers. Just five episodes left until season 2 finale. Are you ready for a ride?

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Vampire Diaries Web has posted three more stills from “Klaus”. Unfortunately, there’s still not one of the “oldest vampire in the history of time”. Not that it comes as a surprise – I suppose the writers want to keep him a mystery. However, the new pictures offer a look at crying Elena and Jenna, plus rather shocked Damon and Andie. Looks like the girl’s still alive – you can’t deny she has luck. As to why the ladies are crying, we don’t know. But don’t worry – all will be revealed April 21st.

April Sweeps poster has also been revealed. It portrays “born to die” Elena surrounded by flowers. You can check it out along with some “Klaus” stills below. Head over to Vampire-Diaries.net for a textless version.

Michael Trevino promo pic & poster, Thursday Night preview + Team Caroline wristbands

Thanks to CW publicist @HeyJude012 for tweeting this season 2 shot of Michael Trevino. So dark, mysterious and hot! Did I mention “hot”? Just two more days, guys! Excited, much?

Besides the promo picture, we have a new poster to show you. Given the light smirk (accompanied by sexy look) and the heading, I believe it’s Katherine on it. Thanks, The CW Blog!

To end with the CW goodies, they uploaded a new promo featuring the show on their YouTube channel. “The Vampire Diaries” and “Nikita” own Thursday Nights, indeed. Time to return, isn’t it?

Plus, Candice Accola Web ordered 50 ‘Team Caroline’ wristbands. Maddie posted a few polls regarding them a while ago and due to the positive response from them decided to order some. If the sales go well, there will be more wristbands. I would like to highlight that 25% of the proceeds go to Turn The Corner and 25% more – to Lymenaide. Support those causes and Team Caroline by buying a wristband over at Candice Accola Web.

Crying Wolf episode description, stills from 213 & 214 + new Stefan poster

Been dying for a Stefan poster? Well, your wish just came true. New January Sweeps poster (left) hit the Net a few days ago. In case the MQ version doesn’t please you, Blood Falls have it in high quality. Sorry, Damon, but there’s a reason he always gets the girl.

Many thanks to VampireSite.net for revealing the official description of episode 14, “Crying Wolf”. It airs February 10th and promises to be very interesting.

SECRETS AND LIES – Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) get away for what they hope will be a romantic weekend at the Gilbert family lake house, not realizing that they’ve been followed. Jenna (Sara Canning) starts to worry that Alaric (Matt Davis) isn’t being honest with her. Jules (guest star Michaela McManus) explains the importance of the sun and moon curse to Tyler (Michael Trevino), but leaves out an important detail. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) attends a tea at the Historical Society in order to talk to Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies), but Elijah isn’t giving up any secrets. With help from Caroline (Candice Accola) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Bonnie (Katerina Graham) uses deceptive measures to get shocking new information out of Luka (guest star Bryton James). Finally, Tyler offers Matt (Zach Roerig) some relationship advice.

David Von Ancken directed the episode written by Brian Young.

As if the synopsis wasn’t enough to thrill us, Nina Dobrev Network has two stills from the February 10th episode. You can check them out in her gallery. Let the celebrations begin, Stelena fans! And in case you haven’t wished NDN happy 1st anniversary yet, head over to her site to do it. 🙂

The CW has released images from “Daddy Issues” as well. Credit goes to Andrea, again. There are some previews below, all the stills are up over at Vampire Diaries Web. Looks like Tyler fans will join Stelena ones in their happiness.

Nina and Candice at 2011 CW Winter TCA Panel & Party, January 14th

Last Friday, Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola spoke at the 2011 Winter TCA Press Tour: “Kick-Ass Women of the CW” Panel. They joined Hellcats’ Aly Michalka, Maggie Q and Lyndsy Fonseca from Nikita as well as Smallville’s Erica Durance. They all looked marvellous, so much beauty in one place! Executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec were there, too. After (I think) the panel, the stars attended The CW’s 2011 Winter TCA Party. Photos, recaps and interviews are all below. Click on the images to access various picture galleries, such as Vampire Diaries Web‘s, Nina Dobrev Network‘s and Candice Accola Web‘s.

Last, but not least Eric Goldman at IGN tweeted a new “Vampire Diaries” poster. He came across it during the tour. There were “Smallville” and “Nikita” ones, too, just in case you’re curious. Keep your fingers crossed for a high quality version!

Official description for The Descent (212), January Sweeps poster

VampireSite.net (via The CW Network) has released the (real) synopsis of episode 12. Unfortunately, it looks like the one I posted a while ago has been fake. I’m terribly sorry for the confusion. Now, back to the good news. Going through the description, the possibility of the new Delena image to be from “The Descent” is even bigger. Some more stills better come out soon!

DOOM, GLOOM AND PERSONAL GROWTH — Stefan (Paul Wesley) has his own ideas about Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) new plan for the future. While Damon (Ian Somerhalder) tries to get the truth out of Jules (guest star Michaela McManus), he asks Elena to keep an eye on Rose (guest star Lauren Cohan), a situation that turns unexpectedly dangerous. Caroline (Candice Accola) and Matt (Zach Roerig) try to be honest about their feelings for one another, and Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) reaction to Caroline’s generosity comes as a surprise to her. Damon struggles to hide his true feelings when a life-and-death crisis hits him harder than he expected.

Matt Davis also stars. Marcos Siega directed the episode written by Sarah Fain & Elizabeth Craft.

New November Sweeps poster: “Death is a sacrifice Elena’s not willing to make.”

New Vampire Diaries poster? Yes, please! One more November Sweeps fan art has premiered, courtesy of The-VampireDiaries.com. This one is of Elena and its tagline is pretty provocative. Looks like the heroine of the show won’t turn into a red-eyed bloodsucker anytime soon (at least not this season).  Or will she? Check out this dashing poster of Nina and head over to Blood Falls for a textless version!
