Following the description and first look for this season’s finale, The CW Network has revealed more stills from the episode today. They are kind of spoilery, so watch with caution. Check out previews below and access Vampire Diaries Web’s gallery for more.

E! Online’s green interview with Ian: “We could really move mountains.”

April 22nd was not only Good Friday, but Earth Day. In honour of this date, E! Online has recently sat down with Ian Somerhalder to talk about all things green. The actor dishes about his foundation, people’s part in it and what we can do to help. Read a snippet here and visit Marc Malkin’s blog for the rest.

“There are many people in and around this business whom are making strides to be greener,” he says when asked about eco-efforts in Hollywood. “We can always do more…The film business creates a large amount of waste, and I’m not immune to waste in the business.

Additional stills from The Last Dance (218) and Klaus (219)

The awesome Andrea over at Nina Dobrev Network has added some new stills to the gallery. They’re from episode 18 and 19 and feature Elena and Katherine both. Click on the previews below to see all of them. I will say one thing: beautiful cast is beautiful.

Latest Kat & Michael appearances: Aucwood Meet and Greet Panel, T-Mobile Sidekick Launch Party

April 20th was a busy day for Katerina Graham and Michael Trevino. “The Vampire Diaries” stars visited the AUCwood Panel in Atlanta and T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Launch Event, respectively. Huge thanks to KaterinaGraham.org and MTrevino.org for the heads up! Visit these fansites for the entire sets.

Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder at Coachella Music Festival, April 16th

“Vampire Diaries” stars Nina and Ian were at Coachella Music Festival: Day 2 last weekend. They were joined by Diane Kruger and her boyfriend Joshua Jackson. Credit goes to Just Jared, more photos are up here and here.

The same day (April 16th), the co-workers attended Armani Exchange Brunch. Unfortunately, there aren’t much pictures from there, but a few are better than nothing, right? Thanks to Vampire Diaries Web for posting! You can find UHQ versions from both events at Vampire Diaries Show.

And during the night, Dobrev and Somerhalder showed up at A|X Armani Exchange and 944 Magazine NEON Carnival. Nina looked brilliant in her fairy dress and Ian was… Ian – hot, hot and hot. Head over to VDW’s gallery for the rest of the images.

A video from the carnival has also surfaced. In it, the stars talk about season 2 finale, saying there will be not one, but a couple of cliffhangers. Just in case you haven’t seen “As I Lay Dying” synopsis and first still yet, go here and take a look at them.

The Last Day (220) extended trailer, Mystic Diaries with Nina & Matt

CWtelevision uploaded short and extended version of “The Last Day” promo on YouTube yesterday. I have posted the longer one, which contains quite big spoilers. And when I say big, I mean it. You’d better not watch if you don’t want to spoil the surprise. They swore they’d do anything to keep her safe, but will they manage to?

New “Vampire Diaries” episode, new Mystic Diaries videos. This time, they’re recorded by Matt Davis and Nina Dobrev (can’t get enough of her, can you?). Paul, Ian, Sara and Katerina also star. Click on the screencaps below to watch the videos over at cwtv.com (you, too, international fans!).

Klaus (219): Behind the scenes peek, song list & ratings

Thanks to PopWrap for offering this behind the scenes look from last episode. It shows the 1492 version of the Stefan/Elena/Damon trio, also known as Klaus, Katherine and Elijah. What do you think about human Katherine? Or should I say Katerina? 😉

Chris Mollere doesn’t stop keeping us updated with the latest “Vampire Diaries” music. He didn’t miss to tweet the tracks featured in “Klaus”, too. Check out the complete song list now and go here for previous ones.

2. Doves “Compulsion” – Amazon US, Amazon UK
3. Lykke Li “Get Some” – Amazon US, Amazon UK

Finally, here are the episode ratings. They were a little down again, gaining 2.65 million viewers. On the eve of Good Friday, a lot of networks ran repeats and the ratings were unusually low. That’s normal considering the holidays, so don’t worry. The show is most likely to be renewed for third season and you’ll be able to watch your favourites this fall as well. 🙂

CW also ran originals. Vampire Diaries was down 0.2 versus last week with a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. Nikita was even with another 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.

THURSDAY FINAL RATINGS – AT TV BY THE NUMBERS.

New Elena, Stefan & Damon poster + description and first look at season 2 finale

This newly released promotional poster of the trio is the latest one from the Ophelia-esque series. Ophelia is one of the main characters in William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”. If you don’t know her story, check out what a fan had to say about it. You can thank Vampire-Diaries.net for the poster, textless one can be found in their gallery. See individual versions of Elena, Stefan and Damon here. How many will die so that one could live in your opinion?

Official synopsis for the last episode of season 2 surfaced yesterday. Many thanks to VampireSite.net! The episode is directed by John Behring and written by Turi Meyer (hi there, “Smallville” fans!), Al Septien and Michael Narducci. Any guesses on who will lay dying?

THE BOND BETWEEN BROTHERS — While Mystic Falls presents a screening of “Gone with The Wind” in the town square, Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) memories of Katherine (Nina Dobrev) in 1864 mix with the reality of Elena (Nina Dobrev) in the present day. Stefan (Paul Wesley) pays a terrible personal price for his attempt to prevent a tragedy, and Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) makes a deadly mistake while trying to keep everyone safe. More than one life hangs in the balance as the consequences of the sacrifice ritual play out to a horrifying conclusion.

Steven R. McQueen, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola and Matt Davis also star.

The first still from the finale was also revealed yesterday. Looks like things are getting pretty hot between Damon and Elena. And that fire in the background makes them even hotter. You can view the image under the cut and read Robyn Ross‘s article over at TV Guide.

Chat time: Vampire Diaries finale scoop, Originals & sacrifices

Yes, you heard that right. It’s chat time again! With season two coming to an end, there’s been hundreds of interviews surfacing. I put them all together in this post for your safety and sanity. There are many topics discussed, especially the finale, the Curse of the Sun and the Moon and Klaus, of course. For more scoop, click on the Interview category at the top of the page.

Zap2it: ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev on Katherine: ‘It must be a lonely place’

Don’t expect Katherine to stay down for long, though. “When she gets rejected, she wants it even more,” she says. “It’s the want-what-I-can’t-have syndrome. It makes the dynamic with Katherine and Damon a little bit more interesting because all of a sudden he doesn’t want her anymore. It’s kind of like ‘Oh, you don’t want me? I’m going to make you want me.’ It heightens the love triangle even more between those three.”

Paul & Candice magazine features + Mystic Diaries next part

Paul Wesley and Candice Accola have been recently featured in various magazines. First, Paul has posed for this month’s InStyle. There’s a nice interview in addition to it, including quotes from Paul’s female co-stars. Credit to Paul Wesley Web for the scans.

And here’s more on-set goodness from The Vampire Diaries Lair. Nina Dobrev and Zach Roerig take us behind the scenes of “The Last Dance” once again. Kat, Candice, Marguerite and Paul’s back (which is definitely not something you can miss) also make a cameo. Oh, and Bonnie’s magic is revealed. YouTube versions thanks to Vampire Diaries Poland.
