April 20th was a busy day for Katerina Graham and Michael Trevino. “The Vampire Diaries” stars visited the AUCwood Panel in Atlanta and T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Launch Event, respectively. Huge thanks to KaterinaGraham.org and MTrevino.org for the heads up! Visit these fansites for the entire sets.
TV Fanatic‘s Gabrielle Compolongo paid a visit to the “Vampire Diaries” set last month. She posted a review of her experience as well as photos with the cast. Except hanging around in Atlanta, Gabrielle talked to Ian Somerhalder about season 2, Elena vs. Katherine and what Damon would do for the woman he loves. Both parts can be found at her blog.
In addition to EW’s 60′s style slideshow, Mandi Bierly has more quotes from Julie Plec. She particularly comments on Elena and Stefan’s reaction when they learn about Damon’s compulsion on reporter Andie Star. The raising tension between the Salvatore brothers is also mentioned. Read an excerpt here and go to Inside TV for the rest of the story.
The tension between the Salvatore Brothers will also continue to rise, Plec says, as they find themselves on opposite ends of a debate about the best methods to protect Elena. “I am fully a Team Salvatore shipper. I want the brothers to be brothers, and to love each other, and to be good to each other always, but that’s part of the journey of the show,” Plec says. “When you’ve got two guys who have feelings for the same girl, that’s not gonna be easy. And it starts to become particularly complicated as we get to the end of the season.”
Buffyfest met Andrew Chambliss during WonderCon’s Dark Horse Panel yesterday. Just in case you didn’t know, the writer is also working on Buffy’s season 9. He talks about writing for it and “Dollhouse” in general, but there are some “Vampire Diaries” questions, too. Great interview, especially for fans of “Buffy”! Check it all out here.
Carina Mackenzie definitely doesn’t waste her time. Besides chatting with Candice, the interviewer caught up with Nina Dobrev. The actress dishes on Damon’s influence in her character’s life, Elena’s immortality, etc. Watch a sneak peek below and stay tuned to Zap2it for more from your favourites.
As Kat Graham tweeted, she attended the 42nd NAACP Image Awards yesterday. Besides supporting the winners, the actress presented at the event. Looking gorgeous while doing so, of course. You can find a couple of pictures below and head over to Katerina Graham Source for HQs.
And Troix Magazine offers a behind the scenes look at Katerina’s cover shoot. They talk about Atlanta, what’s ahead for Bonnie and her obsession with both acting and music. Play the video for 8 minutes with “Queen Kat”.
TV Squad‘s Maggie Furlong paid a visit to Mystic Falls a few days ago. She chatted to “a vampire, a werewolf, a witch, a kid who can’t be killed and the most clueless guy in town” a.k.a. Candice, Michael, Kat, Steven and Zach. They discuss the weather in Atlanta (LOL), their characters, the apparently-not-so-famous-as-we-thought Klaus and more. Play the video below for 5 minutes of plenty of fun!
WP: Before the whole wolf thing, Tyler didn’t really rank on the Salvatore radar. But now he’s Damon’s enemy. What’s going to happen with that?
MT: I think with the information that they’re finding about how one werewolf bite can kill a vampire it is going to cause trouble. Damon’s not going to want any werewolves just casually roaming Mystic Falls. I think that he’s going to have a problem with that. He’s going to want to address it. How far and deep he goes into it, I don’t know. But he’s going to have to do something about it. And then maybe he’ll have to deal with what part Stefan has in getting involved in this new werewolf lineage thing in Mystic Falls.
The rest of the Trevino chat – at Wetpaint.
Among the new faces will be an actor cast as Klaus, the as-yet-unseen mysterious, malevolent manipulator who emerged as the central villain of author L.J. Smith’s novel series that inspired the show. “We don’t know who’s going to be playing Klaus, but that’s going to be a huge thing,” says Wesley. “He’s going to be the big, evil bad guy ,and we’re all really, really interested to see who they’re going to cast because we think it’s going to be a pretty big deal.”
Head over to Wetpaint for more Paul.
E! Online‘s Kristin finally posted more from her chat with Candice and Michael. In the videos below, the stars talk almost everything – from how Tyler’s almost-wolfish status could affect his relationship with Caroline to could a romance between her and Stefan happen. They also answer some fan questions, such as whether the teen werewolf and the neurotic control freak on crack might be hooking up. Now, enjoy Kristin’s long, wonderful interview with Trevino here, at the site, and head over to E! Online for her chat with Candice.
November 4th was officially a Nina Dobrev day! First, the actress participated in a live interview during The Associated Press stream. She was also one of the guests on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. You missed her appearances? Don’t worry, we have them both for your viewing enjoyment! The first clip is courtesy of AP Live, who were kind enough to upload their chat with Nina. She talks about two of her favorite cities – New York and Atlanta, pluses of playing Elena and Katherine both. Ms. Dobrev also teases next week’s episode, “Katerina”. Play the video below for more of this long, great interview.
And thanks to the one and only Nina Dobrev Network for providing us with a video from Nina Dobrev’s visit on Jimmy Fallon. You can watch part 1 here and be sure to head over to her site for part 2 (+ some awesome caps)! The actress discusses almost the same things as the ones in the AP interview. Jimmy also shows a few lovely pictures of Nina from Australia. Plus, they play Dance Central which is so fun to watch! What more can I say? Just check it out already!
Speaking of Nina Dobrev Network, don’t forget to donate for Andrea’s latest projects - Christmas (ends November 8th) and birthday (final date: December 15th) one. “I think Bonnie is all about protecting and loving her friends,” the 21-year-old said. “She’s going to do what she has to do to protect the ones she loves, no matter what.”
“I hope. I love when Nina’s just like the bad-assed, kick-ass woman,” she said. “I love doing scenes with her, period, but I really love doing showdown scenes with her because she’s just so into it. I think a showdown with Katherine would be incredible.”

It was an exhausting week for “Uncle Mason”! Besides the three interviews of him we posted a few days ago, Taylor also talked to People and PopWrap. Here are some quotes from his PopWrap interview (where he actually answers fan questions!):
PW: How much does Mason know about the other characters? (via @Valerie Mus1c_)
Taylor: Every week you learn more and more. I think the mystery, and there is some with all them, but the one with Katherine — because she’s so manipulative — is the coolest. There’s no definitive end all, be all answer to what makes these people tick but that just keeps things fresh.
Are there going to be any surprise guests this season?
We have a really great guest star who comes on in the first few episodes, a really cute guy the girls will love. There’s always some really great characters being introduced and fun new actors who join our little family. [It's] always fun to have them be a part of our lives for a little bit.
