Nina Dobrev on MTV’s The Seven, talks Perks of Being a Wallflower

Nina has been one busy lady this week. In addition to all her media appearances, she has visited MTV Studios. On April 28th, Dobrev appeared on The Seven. She talks in Bulgarian a little, comments on her Seventeen cover shoot and “The Vampire Diaries”. You can find screencaps over at Nina Dobrev Network.

The same day, Hollywood Crush has also caught up with the actress. It’s the first interview of her chatting about “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”, her latest project. She discusses the script, the cast (Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, etc.) and the movie itself. Go here for the entire article.

The Seven visits Caroline’s house, Nina Dobrev on Regis & Kelly

The Seven has been to the “Vampire Diaries” set this month. While there, Candice Accola gave them a quick tour of Caroline’s house. The episode in which she stars aired yesterday. You can see her part below, many thanks to MTV for uploading!

In addition to Nina’s KTLA Morning appearance, the beauty stopped by Live with Regis & Kelly earlier today. She was second, after Alec Baldwin (lucky girl!). Nina Dobrev covers Teen Vogue April 2011, Michael Trevino for Bello Magazine + Ian’s Vogue spread

Yes, I’m alive and terribly sorry for the recent lack of updates! Real life kept me busy and wouldn’t let me post. Fortunately, it’s all fine now, so I’m planning to catch up with all the news. So, expect many posts with in the next couple of days. I hope you haven’t forgotten me. ;)

Nina Dobrev has done a cover shoot for the latest issue of Teen Vogue. The magazine has some goodies for her fans, such as a 2-page interview and a behind the scenes peek. Nina comments on the difficulty of portraying Elena and Katherine, media attention, etc. And thanks to dailygleeks via ontd_tvdiaries for providing us with scans (you need to join the community in order to view posts). Not that she’s complaining. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, but raised in Toronto, Nina landed her big break just out of high school in 2006 as teen mom Mia in Degrassi: The Next Generation and describes herself as your typical overachiever. “I wanted to be the jock, and I wanted to be a dancer and actress,” she says of her time at a competitive performing-arts high school in Toronto. “I was also a gymnast and very academically driven. I always had a lot on my plate and was really overwhelmed. Not much has changed—I’m constantly trying to one-up myself and raising the stakes.” She stops and smiles, adding, “Ha! No pun intended.”

Paul on Lopez Tonight, out with Torrey + Steven R. McQueen portraits

Paul Wesley appeared on Lopez Tonight at Valentine’s Day midnight. Thanks to George’s crew itself for uploading the video! Paul explains fans’ obsession, how he got girl’s attention back in time and what he does when a woman asks him to bite her. Captures are up over at Vampire Diaries Web.

The actor was also photographed taking Torrey DeVitto out for lunch on February 14th. So nice of him! I love how he found the time despite his busy “Vampire Diaries” schedule. The full set can be found at Paul Wesley France.

Nina Dobrev & Candice Accola on 10 on Top

As we have told you earlier today, Nina and Candice have appeared on MTV‘s 10 on Top. They talk about the show, which comes in 4th place (good enough considering it’s in hiatus), Klaus and the possibility of a “Vampire Diaries” movie. ‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Sara Canning Plays Nina Dobrev’s Aunt, But Feels Like Her Sister

We always felt like Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) 30-something aunt on “Vampire Diaries,” Jenna Sommers (Sara Canning) looked way too young for her character. Well, turns out, that’s because she is…really young in fact.

Sara told MTV News that while she plays Elena’s much older guardian on the show, in real life the two girls are only a little more than a year apart. In other words, they’re practically the same age!

“It’s a really funny dynamic you know?” said Sara. “It’s an interesting challenge and stuff.”

We can imagine! While acting 10 years older than her actual age might not come so naturally to Sara, she certainly doesn’t need to rehearse being good friends and roomies with Nina (the two were sharing an apartment the last time we checked!).

“It’s funny because Nina is one of my closest friends and she really, she kind of feels like a sister on set. So, that famly dynamic has kind of developed. It’s fun.”
